A three hour course teaching many different techniques that will benefit anyone who wants to immediately improve their speaking and communication skills

Anyone who expects to speak in front of other people regardless of the size of the audience or the type of presentation. This course will be useful to people that need to speak and communicate to other people in an effective manner.

Again, anyone who needs to speak and communicate more effectively in formal or informal settings and whether it is to one person, a few people or many people.

People that would benefit greatly from this course are salespeople of every type, business people, employers, corporate executives, midlevel managers, teachers, financial advisors, college students, job seekers, civic activists, political candidates,financial advisors, and anyone making any presentation of any kind.

The class is geared to teaching students the fundamentals of being a better all around speaker and communicator. The skill sets taught are applicable to formal speeches as well as every other type of situation where effective communication is important.

No. For the course, COMMUNICATE LIKE A CHAMPION there is simply no preparation needed. Just think about the type of speaking that you need to improve on and know that you will be asked to speak for up to four minutes on the topic and in the manner that you choose.

For example:
- A real estate agent would give a listing presentation.
- A financial advisor would present an investment strategy to a client
- A business executive would give a boardroom presentation
- A salesperson would try to close a deal
- A politician would give a formal speech
- A job seeker would present himself as though he or she was being interviewed

Definitely. Andy will provide a tremendous amount of information in a rapid and entertaining matter but class participation and questions are always welcome. We have discovered that students learn from the questions, input, and participation of their fellow students.

Andy’s style is to provide information at a fast clip using his many real life experiences, stories, and sense of humor to demonstrate various speaking and communications techniques. In Andy’s courses you can be sure that there will be many questions, a lot of learning, and a lot of laughs. The participants always have a great time.

During the last hour of the course, COMMUNICATE LIKE A CHAMPION, each student has the opportunity to speak for four minutes on a topic of his or her choice and receive instant feedback from Andy. But remember, the only purpose of the critique is to help the students instantly improve.

Any student that does not want to participate or speak during the last hour certainly would not be pressured to do so or be embarrassed in any way. It is important to remember, however, that the only purpose of the last hour is to help students overcome
their fears and receive instant feedback so participation by everyone is certainly recommended.

Absolutely. See our link entitled Personal Coaching for availability and rates. There is an hourly rate and Andy offers one, two and three hour Sessions. The more hours you take, the better value for you. Keep in mind, that Andy’s time is very limited so you need to order quickly.

In addition, Andy offers a deluxe package which includes videotaping and analysis. Students have found that a few hours of private coaching can be extremely helpful in attaining their goals.

Andy is also available to give a different speech depending on the needs of your organization. For example, Andy was hired in 2006 to be the keynote speaker at a real estate recruitment event. The real estate firm specifically asked Andy to speak on the subject, Is there a Real Estate Bubble? Since Andy has a background in real estate, finance, and the stock market he was extremely comfortable with the subject matter and agreed to do the presentation.

Andy would be happy to present this program at your office, your place of business, or even your home. In fact, having Andy speak at your location could be more cost effective for you depending on the number of participants and what you are trying to achieve. Andy enjoys scheduling events in this manner if it will benefit your organization and help you achieve your goals.

Traveling for Andy

As far as traveling goes, Andy is open to it, so it all depends on where, when, and if the arrangements can be made.

The answer really depends on what you and your organization are trying to accomplsh. We will look at the location of the event, the length of the presentation requested, and the anticipated number of people expected. Provide us with this basic information and we will give you a fair price based on your needs, goals and objectives.

Andy intentionally limits his seminars to an absolute maximum of twelve people so that the classes can be interactive, informal, fast paced, and enjoyable.

If you are inviting Andy to your place of business or other location, as discussed in the question above, we will be very flexible to accommodate the needs of your specific situation.

Some people want Andy to present the seminar to a larger group of people which is more cost effective for you. Others want a smaller seminar so that there is a better opportunity for more class participation. Both options are fine and Andy will work with you to make the event a success.
